Severn Trent held a meeting with local councillors earlier this month. They have managed to route the difficult part over farmland but are planning to work on the B4215 between the Tibberton turning and Trioscape. This has a large verge but, for a variety of reasons, they will still need to use traffic control lights along that section. This will be for a period of ‘up to’ 8 weeks from mid-July until into the school term in mid-September. They will be working on the A40 at the same time, unfortunately. These proposals have been submitted to the County Council but have not yet been approved, although this is thought to be a formality.
Severn Trent are planning some drop-in meetings and are sending out a letter to all ‘affected residents’, which may not necessarily include you. The revised plans will be revealed at a drop-in event on Monday 1st July at Newent Community Centre between 3.30 pm – 6.45 pm.
