In line with government guidance, the Royal British Legion is encouraging people across the UK to take part in the VE Day 75th Anniversary commemorations from the safety of their homes by joining in a programme of activities, including a moment of reflection and remembrance at 11am on Friday 8th May 2020. With members of the public unable to attend VE Day group gatherings, the Royal British Legion is playing a central role in the delivery of a range of activities, including VE Day broadcast, national moments of remembrance and thanksgiving, and links to an education pack for children and young people.
