New road signs installed as part of the Build Back Better funding for the Daffodil Weekend

We are pleased to confirm that the new village signs, agreed as part of the Build Back Better Funding for the Daffodil Weekend, that highlight the village link to the local wild daffodils are now being erected at all the main entry points to the village.  So far, four signs have been fixed to existing poles so that they are in place for this year’s Daffodil weekend on the 18th and 19th March. There are a further four signs which will require new posts, and these will be erected as soon as practicable. These modern new boundary signs replace the old and, in some cases, missing black and white village entry signs and are designed to be as close as we are allowed by the Highway Authority Regulations to the village branding, now being used for all signage and most village groups.
